Mothers' Union
Founded in England in 1876 it is the largest Anglican women’s organization in the world having over 3.75 million members in 78 countries.
Our Branch meets on the third Thursday of each month: February to November in the Parish Centre at 10.00 a.m. We share fellowship, hear from speakers encouraging us in supporting stable family life and care for ourselves through health and safety issues.
The work of MU in the wider world supports indigenous MU workers in Papua New Guinea, Melanesia, Africa in the fields of health, education, literacy and HIV/AIDS.
Membership provides opportunities for growth and enrichment in spirituality through intellectual stimulation, prayer, fellowship and self-confidence.
