REFLECTION: Welcome everyone to the Dedication of our new St James’ Parish Centre.

HYMNS:
TIS 678 How firm a foundation.
O how good it is.
TIS 154 Great is your faithfulness.
TIS 147 To God be the glory.
DEDICATION:
Our service this morning will be a service of thanksgiving to the Lord for his rich
provision and his many mercies in enabling this new Parish Centre to come into
being. Our prayer is that this Centre would be a place where people are nurtured in
their faith, where needs are met, where Jesus is proclaimed, where praises are sung
and prayers offered, and where we might enjoy rich fellowship together as God’s
people. Bishop Paul Barker is with us today and will be sharing God’s Word with us and
leading us in Holy Communion. At the conclusion of the service, Bishop Paul will
cut the ribbon and lead us into the new Parish Centre where there will be a few
speeches, a presentation or two, a prayer of dedication, and the unveiling of a
commemorative plaque. Following the ceremony, we hope you will stay with us
and enjoy a light finger-food lunch and have a good look around our new facility.
PARKING:
We are still waiting for the new carpark to be fully completed so the only parking
available will be our usual carpark. Can those who are able-bodied please park on
the street this Sunday to leave the carpark for those who really need it.
